How do I do free skip tracing?
Make a free Tracepoint account, install the Tracepoint Helper on your Windows PC and upload your list or pull one from Property Search. The skip tracing costs nothing and there is no card to add.
Is there a free skip tracing tool for wholesalers?
Tracepoint is one. It is a free skip tracing tool built for real estate wholesalers, and the CRM, dialer, texting and pipeline come with it.
Is it really free?
Yes. Skip tracing on a new account costs nothing, and the rest of Tracepoint comes with it. There is no card to add, no plan to pick and nothing that starts billing later. One free account per person.
What happens when I run out of lookups?
Book a call and we add more to your account. Nothing else stops: your leads, your pipeline, your dialer and every number you have already traced stay exactly where they are.
Does re-running the same list cost me lookups?
No. A lookup is only used when Tracepoint finds a phone number it has not found for you before. Owners already in your workspace come back straight away and count for nothing, so you can work a list for months without spending anything on it twice.
Do I need to install anything?
Yes, one small app: the Tracepoint Helper. It pairs with your workspace and does the lookups on your own PC, which is the reason the tracing is free. Without it running there is no tracing. Everything else opens in your browser.
Does it work on a Mac?
The app itself opens in any browser, Mac included. The Helper that does the tracing is Windows only today. A Mac version is being built and is not out yet, so on a Mac you can use everything except the tracing. We are not going to give you a date we do not have.
Where do the numbers come from?
The county record first. Tracepoint starts from the owner of record for the address you gave it, and every number it hands back carries the tag that says how it was tied to that person, so the person dialling knows what they are holding.
Is my list private?
The lookups run on your own PC, so they go out from your machine rather than ours. Your workspace is separated from every other customer in the database, every request is checked against the account it came from rather than anything the browser claims, and nothing leaves your account unless you send it.
Can I bring my own Twilio number?
Yes. You buy and hold your own Twilio numbers inside the app, and you can text through your own GHL number as well. The keys stay yours.
